Sunset's brainstorming diagram!

Hi everyone my name is Sunset and I’m extremely proud to be part of Foothills class of 2016! I’m not very loud but I hope you can all still hear me. I’m going to tell you a few things about myself and I hope it’s exciting! Let me just say how excited I am to finally be out of middle school! I don’t know how much longer I could take. I’m sure you guys are too! Well with that let’s start!
I have many academic goals for this year and for my high school career. I want to keep my GPA as close to a 4.0 as possible all four years I’m at Foothill. I’ve come close to this many times but there’s always that one stupid B that trips me up. I think the class I’ll have the most difficulties with will probably be math; because that’s the class I always got a B in. But hopefully this year I’ll be able to change that. I want to try to get into UCLA when I’m older because it’s a really good school and I really like the location and campus. I want to study there for a while but I eventually want to study abroad in South Korea. I want to transfer to a university there (I haven’t decided which one yet.) and study Korean language.

I love my family more than anything in this world! I have amazing relationships with all of my family members but of course there are things I could improve. My mom and I have a very good relationship, she’s one of my best friends; I tell her everything. But being the fourteen year old girl that I am we argue a little more than we probably should. I really want to work on that because I know the last thing she wants to do when she gets home from a long day at work is fight. I have two older brothers named Matthew and Ramon who I love to death! My brother Ramon and I don’t have anything to work on but because he moved out a few years ago to live with his fiancée Erin (Who I absolutely adore!) I don’t get to see him as much as I would like to. I still see him at least three times a week and we started playing tennis this summer, but unfortunately we had to stop because of school. My other brother Matthew still lives with me so I see him every day and we don’t have anything to work on. My grandma is getting a bit older so her memory isn’t exactly what it used to be. I know it’s not her fault but it still makes me frustrated sometimes so that’s something I have to work on. And for the last member of my family my dog Kobe he’s a pretty good dog, he may get into things he shouldn’t get into from time to time but other than that he’s a good dog. I need to work on taking him on more walks because he’s getting a little chunky.

I’m very lucky because most of my really close friends got into Foothill with me but I do still have a few friends that go to Buena and Ventura. Sadly I’m really bad at keeping in touch with them. I’ve never been very good at keeping in touch with people, I don’t usually call or text someone unless they try to get in contact with me first. I’ve been trying to work on this because I don’t want to lose touch with people but it’s not working to well so far. Luckily my closet friends got in so I still to see them every day because I don’t know what I would do without them! Whenever I have a problem I know I can go to them and they’ll help me through it. I’m really grateful for all my friends.

Music is a huge part of my life I can’t go a day without it! But I don’t listen to the same music as most girls my age I have a bit of an odd taste in music; I’m not into American music I’m into Korean music. I don’t know what it is about Korean music and culture but I love it! My friend Camille got me into Korean pop (Kpop) and from there I started to watch dramas (Which are Korean soap operas.) and variety shows and I just started to fall in love with the culture. I got to go to a concert that my favorite entertainment label was holding back in May and it was absolutely amazing! I got to see all of my favorite bands and it was just so much fun, I wish it never ended! There is a convention coming up in October and I really hope I get to go!

Well I hope you could hear me and I hope it wasn’t too boring. I also hope you got to learn a little bit more about me and liked it. Let me just say again that I’m extremely proud to be a part of Foothill’s class of 2016 and I hope to see you all at graduation!
